Reputation Monitor for Swiss Universities

Issue and reputation monitoring for Swiss universities and higher education institutions

The «Reputation Monitor for Swiss Universities» examines the issue and reputation dynamics of Swiss higher education institutions. It serves as an agenda-setting and issue-management tool and shows which topics centrally shape the sector and what reputation effects these have for the actors involved.

  • The analysis covers reputation-relevant reporting on Swiss universities in central national leading media that are balanced with regard to language regions and publisher diversity.
  • The aim is to identify the central reputation drivers (issues) in the public perception of Swiss universities. This examines to what extent there are as yet unrecognised reputation risks or untapped reputation opportunities.
  • By means of representative population surveys, the further aim is to gain a well-founded picture of how the universities are perceived among the Swiss population and which factors influence this perception
