Current topics and dynamics of the healthcare sector in politics and the media

The «Health Radar Switzerland» examines the issue and reputation dynamics of the Swiss healthcare sector. It serves as an agenda-setting and issue-management tool and shows which topics centrally shape the sector and what reputation effects these have for the actors involved.

Issue management in the healthcare sector: Professional issue monitoring is a central element for the early detection of relevant developments. Early detection does not mean constantly surprising the organisation with novel, as spectacular as possible issues. Rather, early detection means correctly assessing the trajectories and reputation effects of predominantly known issues.

The aim is to track public debates — especially on strategic issues — as precisely as possible (e.g. with regard to the actors involved, dominant positions or evaluation patterns), in order to anticipate in good time any need for action and communication for one’s own organisation.

Linking the media and political agenda: The media perception of Swiss health policy (and its actors) can also be viewed in combination with the health-policy bills in the Swiss Parliament. The issue perspective allows a direct comparison between the health agenda in Parliament and in the media. The «Health Radar Switzerland» is thus also a valuable tool for the public-affairs activities of healthcare actors.

The «Health Radar Switzerland» can be obtained for a fee as an e-paper — as a tailored product following the preferred frequency (monthly, quarterly, semi-annually, annually) and a specific focus area. For targeted internal implementation, tailored dashboards are available via commsPORTAL.
